Friendship Centers, Inc. seeks a lead strategist for philanthropy, as the Chief Development Officer, who will serve in collaboration with the President & CEO, and as a liaison to the Board Fund Development Committee.  This position will maintain and develop appropriate systems and processes of fundraising, donor cultivation, and the supporting functions of communications and marketing to result in increased growth in philanthropic support, community engagement, and public awareness of Friendship Centers.

Background for this position should include a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Development or related business field with CFRE certification preferred. A minimum of five (5) years direct fundraising experience. A minimum of five (5) years of management experience, preferably in a nonprofit environment, with extensive knowledge of fundraising techniques and sources of funding for nonprofit agencies. Expected knowledge foundation consists of accessing and managing donor database systems, computer proficiency, Constant Contact and donor data applications, accompanied by a working knowledge of general office and video equipment.
