The Education Foundation of Sarasota County is seeking an experienced Director of Development. The candidate should be a dynamic, multi-tasking fundraising professional responsible for securing $1,000,000-$1,250,000 annually from corporations and individuals. The Director of Development position is expected to develop productive, compelling fundraising strategies in partnership with the President & CEO. Tactics focusing on cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding an assigned portfolio of donors as well as identifying and developing relationships with new prospects. The Director of Development will work independently and collaboratively as part of the Development Team. This position has a salary range of $75K to $84K.
The Director of Development will uphold the mission of the Education Foundation of Sarasota County, which is to enhance the potential of students, promote excellence in teaching, and inspire innovation in education, guided by strategic philanthropy.
