The Punta Gorda Symphony is seeking an Executive Director, responsible for managing the human and financial resources of the organization. The symphony’s mission is to educate, inspire, and distinguish its identity through symphonic excellence and innovation. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the PGS Executive Director will have major fundraising and development aspects, planning concert production, marketing campaigns, and financial oversight, leading the staff and volunteer team members to accomplish the PGS goals.

Qualifications: Five-years previous executive leadership including high level management and relevant experience within the music field preferred. Superb oral and written communications skills. Outstanding ability to cultivate relationships with colleagues, staff, and community leaders of all types. Knowledge of computer software, email, and Bloomerang online CRM system is expected. CFRE preferred.
